.Roy and his helpers came to the house on time every day and worked for 6 days in a row from 830 AM to almost 630 PM each day. Each day he told us what he had finished and what he would be doing the next day.
As we could easily see the quality of his work we also asked him to refinish the stairs and railings. In addition the raining post at bottom of stairs was very loose, I asked him to fix it and he did along with a few creeks in the floor and boards with cracks in them. We had one dark stain from animal urine that was under a rug when he gave us the original proposal. This required him to remove a few pieces of wood , he did this work within the original price he had given us and you cannot even tell a portion of the wood was replaced.
Our flooring has beveled edges so the pieces have a small gap between each piece. the term used is ” Micro Bevel ” Bruce hardwood floor 3/4 inch. Each person that came to give an estimate raised concerns and said they would do their best to get the stain in the grooves. Roy never voiced concern and did an amazing job throughout the entire floor.
Also we had redone our kitchen and put in refinished hardwood floor. We asked that the old floors be stained to match the new floor. Roy mixed a few samples placed them on the sanded floor for my wife and I to look at. The stain matches extremely well. He was very clean in our house and has done an outstanding job.

Roy did a fantastic job at my place. Top of the line equipment, clean up every day, great job sanding and finishing. Highly recommended.
There was nothing that I disliked. Everything was great. He came and quoted what he said he was going to quote. He worked to the penny with his quote even though he couldn’t see the whole job because it was under carpet when he quoted it. He had some unknown open issues that he told me what the prices would be if the open issues escalated, which they didn’t. He was timely. He finished a day earlier than his quote. He was professional and helpful the whole time he was there.
I cannot begin to express my 100% satisfaction with Aull Wood Flooring. Owner Roy is by far, one of the best, most professional contractors we have dealt with over the course of 25 years in our home. Aside from the given-responsive, professional, patient….which it seems is hard to come by these days, Roy takes his business personally. On premise every day.
A perfectionist with an eye for detail and attention. He takes his time to make sure you know the options and is very knowledgeable. The team he assembles to work with him are equally qualified and great, especially Mark, who put up with my many questions and asking of his opinion with ease. Never making me feel like a pain.
That doorbell rang at 9 on the dot each day. The clean up at the end of each day was just as impressive. No dust, no mess, leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. The little things are what separate them from the rest! We had 5 rooms, stairway, and hallways redone. My only regret is not having found them sooner. 3 full days and they are finished! I can’t recommend Aull Wood Flooring highly enough.
